This machine has really made working in my tiny shop, much easier. I always have the correct spoke for a repair or a new wheel build….because I can make any spoke that I might need. I use DT spokes for most of my builds and repairs. Stainless steel or stainless with black. I prefer to use brass nipples in my builds, as alloy nipples will make for a slightly lighter wheel. The trade-off is that the alloy nipples will seize in the wheel at about the two year mark and the wheel may need to be rebuilt at that point.
